Isaiah (part 2) - lesson 25

We see in this lesson that Jesus was truly in love with His people, and truly devoted to His father.
This was not a mistake. Jesus wasn't just born in the wrong time. This was the purpose. God had the ultimate purpose to have His son be our sacrifice.

We even see that God took pleasure and was pleased at Christ's sacrifice. That was the to Lord's will, to crush Him, to put Him to grief. (verse 10). This takes us to James where we learn to consider it all joy when we encounter various trials. There is a purpose to these trials. God could see through the cross and to see what the cross would bring.

What a beautiful picture. What powerful truth.
