This new segment of Isaiah talks about the comfort of God. Encouraging them to trust in the truth of God and His word. Isaiah 40:8 says that flower fades and the grass withers, but the word of God stands forever.
Here we are reminded that Lord is coming (second coming) for judgment and reward. Precious verses of how our Shepherd is. And how He tends His flock. We are to look to the Lord. Hope in the Lord. And the verses that describe our great and mighty God. Oh how we need this perspective. The Lord who knows the stars by name. He is great, and mighty, and full of strength. His power is amazing. Trusting in this God today.
